If you want to become the proud owner of a BMW M2 F87 with 370PS, you have to make at least 56.700 euros in order to enjoy the 465NM torque of the N55 engine. If you approach that with a budget of € 43.750, that's still enough for the 326PS / 450NM strong BMW M 235i Coupé which, with some refinements, can definitely show the M2's taillights. We have a good example from the Swiss BMW dealership and tuner Kistler discovered who are also AC Schnitzer authorized dealers. The tuner equipped a M235i with AC Schnitzer parts and gave it an increase in performance to a whopping 420PS and 560 Newton meters and thus trumps the M2 by a whopping 50PS and 95NM torque. Various AC Schnitzer parts and a fixed and eye-catching rear spoiler have been installed so that the sporty coupe has a significant extra performance but also the right look. Incidentally, the AC Schnitzer Parts also include a set of 20 inch bicolor aluminum rims, which also ensures that the complete tuning costs grow to a hefty € 18.350.
Information about the BMW M 235i Coupe
With a total of € 62.100, the M235i is a good 5.000 euros more expensive than a standard M2. If you were to invest the € 5.000 in the M2, whose wider and beefier look is already built in from the factory, the whole thing would be difficult to defend. In the end, everyone has to know this for themselves and for those who do not want to drive an off-the-shelf car, the Kistler variant is definitely the right one. After the tuning cure that the M235i was allowed to endure, it is now much stronger, more conspicuous and more dynamic than the production version and should cut a good figure, especially on the racetrack. Anyone who is thinking of buying an M 235i Coupé in the future or who already owns one is certainly an interesting starting point for BMW Kistler when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.
