How can that happen? Prior Design brings a widebody kit for the BMW 2er on the market and the guys from tuningblog.eu overslept the whole thing! While half the internet is discussing the PD2XX widebody kit on the F22 2 series, we prefer to write about models red alloy wheels or crazy foliations! Sorry, but that doesn't work at all ... The fiberglass Dura-Flex body kit for the 2-person limo is the absolute hit and especially the combination with the bright green PD3FORGED aluminum rims in an estimated 20 inches is rock-hard. The € 6.000 body kit includes a completely new bumper including front spoiler, a new rear bumper including diffuser, new side skirts, a rear spoiler, extreme fender flares all around and a beefy new bonnet. Even if the rear side walls remind me a bit of Berti's Manta, they just look fabulous on the 2 Series. If you don't necessarily want the brutal performance of an M2 F87, you can easily place your 218 above the M2 in terms of optics.
Apart from the M2 mentioned, the body kit fits every 2 series F22 and especially a performance-enhanced M135i should, with the body kit that M2 can easily hold a candle to. The Prior Design team released the heavily modified F22 last month and we are happy to show you the pictures after our successful sleep phase. After the extensive tuning cure that the F22 2 series was allowed to endure, it is now visually much more beefy, much more individual and dynamic than the production version, without being too exaggerated or even chubby, everything wants to be very good in my opinion fit. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying an F22 2 Series for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, Prior Design is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.
As far as the further changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to find out the most important details. As always, we have listed what came out of this in a small summary for you in the lower part of the article. - black kidneys
- bright green (signal green) PD3FORGED alloy wheels in an estimated 20 inches
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilovers, Airride air suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
