From the British team bowler motors ltd there is currently news about an extensive Extreme tuning program for the classic Land Rover Defender. The Extreme package is available for the Defender 90, the 110 and even the 130 and gives the iconic off-roader an extremely aggressive look optics and an improved one off-road capability. And even for the layman, the changes are immediately apparent, since the vehicles with a Fast Road suspension kit be equipped for an additional Höherlegung by approx. 51 mm (2 inches) and in combination with widened wheelhouses lets the Defender mutate into a muscle man. The XXL wheel arches also sit 16 inch beadlock rims, which comes with a whopping 35 inches (0,89 m) BFGoodrich Off-road tires are covered. But the upgrades don't end there!

Bowler also gives the vehicles a light weight front bumper, attached to it are so-called "recovery points“ (Recovery points) and you can't miss a black one on the outside Roll cage, which extends from the B-pillar to the loading area. Other highlights are all around LED lights and additional lights on the roof, there are side built-in Rock slider and a special one Bowler Rear Step Kit, so that you can reach the already mentioned loading area more easily. In addition, there are other components billet aluminum, the mentioned roll cage is attached to a massive Roof rack coupled and also a set vents is integrated into the body.

And of course the upgrades extend to the cabin, where Recaro sports seats, MOMO sports steering wheel and a black one Bowler shifter you can see. In addition, the tuner has one Alcantara headliner, an additional soundproofing , and a Alpine infotainment system installed with GPS navigation. And something is also happening on the engine. Installed under the hood Stage 2 tuning kit, the one racing intercooler and a new one Software brings. Bowler states that horsepower and torque increase significantly. And so that the load is delayed again in a befitting manner, Bowler installs a Big Brake Kit with 4-piston brake calipers and larger discs on the front axle measuring 334 mm (13,1 inches) and 297 mm (11,7 inches) at the rear.

The Extreme Defenders are built on a “commission basis” and only one will be made each year limited number manufactured. However, the prices depend on several factors, such as the Facilities and whether the customer donor vehicle provides or not.
