Exclusively equipped city sports cars in limited editions that convey great driving pleasure have a successful history at BRABUS. That's why BRABUS now has a new, electrically powered luxury two-seater for the city: the BRABUS 92R is built on the basis of the smart EQ fortwo cabrio. As the name suggests, this two-seater is a 68 kW / 92 PS strong and 130 km / h fast city supercar with an electric drive, which is built in a strictly limited edition of only 50 units. The BRABUS 92R Urban Supercar not only fascinates with its dynamic drive system without local emissions, but also with its extravagant equipment: the BRABUS design package sets the two-door model apart from the crowd, as does the tailor-made BRABUS monoblock light alloy wheels.
The classy BRABUS fine leather interior creates a classy ambience in the cockpit. The BRABUS 92R is available from 46.284 euros. Of course, this exclusive automobile also benefits from the full electric vehicle subsidy, which amounts to 9.000 euros in Germany, for example.
Brabus 92R - Smart EQ ForTwo Cabrio!
BRABUS supercars all have one thing in common: They offer superior performance and thus an incomparable driving experience. This philosophy is also lived in the BRABUS 92R and with maximum environmental compatibility thanks to CO2 neutrality. For this purpose, BRABUS engineers, technicians and programmers developed a performance upgrade for the electric drive of the smart EQ fortwo cabrio. The BRABUS PowerXtra Performance Upgrade for the three-phase synchronous motor consists of a newly coordinated torque control, new modules for the driving dynamics switch and accelerator pedal as well as a special gateway. The reserves of this electric drive are awakened through the optimal coordination of the individual components.
With the "driving fun switch" in the cockpit you can activate one of the four different driving modes. Basic level 1 leaves the electric motor at the standard performance level. Recuperation is increased in "Eco" mode. This means that the two-seater brakes much more strongly than in series production when you take your foot off the gas. The hydraulic brake is only used to stop. Level 3 stands for "Sport". In this driving program, the accelerator pedal reacts more spontaneously and recuperation is reduced to the standard level. The BRABUS 92R has the "Sport +" level for maximum driving pleasure. This increases the engine output to 68 kW / 92 PS. At the same time, the maximum torque increases to 180 Nm, which is 20 Nm more than in the series.
This means that you not only enjoy an even more lively electric drive in the cockpit, but you also experience an even more direct response from the accelerator pedal. The electrically powered BRABUS 92R city sports car accelerates almost silently in "Sport +" mode from 10,9 - 0 km / h in just 100 seconds. The top speed remains limited to 130 km / h. With one battery charge, a range of up to 125 kilometers can be achieved, depending on the driving style.

The sporty, elegant look of the BRABUS 92R special model matches this performance: the BRABUS design package gives the two-seater an even sportier design and even more efficient aerodynamics. The face of the city sports car is shaped by the BRABUS front apron with three large air inlets, which replaces the standard bumper. The central BRABUS front spoiler and the BRABUS side skirts set bright red accents. At the rear, the BRABUS diffuser gives the two-door model a more athletic appearance. Carbon design covers for the side mirrors round off the individual look just as tastefully.
The exclusive look of this supercar naturally also includes tailor-made wheels that perfectly fill the space in the fenders. The shiny black painted BRABUS Monoblock IX light alloy rims with eight double spokes are used on the special model in the combination 6Jx16 at the front with 185/50 R 16 tires and 7Jx17 with 205/40 R 17 tires on the rear axle. Technology partner Yokohama contributes the optimal high-performance tires. The BRABUS coilover sports suspension, which lowers the exclusive two-door by approx. 25 millimeters, is specially tailored to this wheel / tire combination and the weight of the electric car. In extensive driving tests, an excellent combination of agile, safe handling and driving comfort was achieved.
The interior of the BRABUS 92R is just as extraordinary as the performance and body design: the two seats are upholstered in the finest red BRABUS leather. The seats are quilted in the Ultimate Elypse design. Black decorative stitching and BRABUS logos in both backrests set striking accents. The convertible's electric folding roof is in the same bright red. The steering wheel with a red 12 o'clock mark is also covered with fine BRABUS leather. Other sporty features are the carbon-design panels for instrument panels, additional instruments and ventilation nozzles, as well as pedals, handbrake lever and gear knob made of aluminum.
The door sills and the footrest in the driver's footwell both have a BRABUS logo that is illuminated alternately in white or red. Noble black velor floor mats with a red BRABUS logo round off the classy ambience. Air conditioning, radio and navigation system are of course part of the extensive equipment of the open-top BRABUS 92R city supercar from Bottrop. Further customer requests can be met with special paintwork and other interior upgrades.
