Stronger, more dynamic, more individual and even more exclusive: The new Mercedes S-Class is here and BRABUS is already presenting an extensive refinement program for the luxury sedan from Stuttgart. The first step is the BRABUS B50 - 500 PowerXtra performance upgrade for the S 500 4MATIC petrol engine to 368 kW / 500 PS and 590 Nm torque and the BRABUS PowerXtra D40 module, which gives the turbo diesel engine of the S 400 d 29 kW / 40 PS more power and a torque increase of 50 Nm. Other new BRABUS developments are a sporty, elegantly styled aerodynamics program, tailor-made wheels from 19 to 21 inches in diameter, lowering and exclusive options for the interior. All BRABUS components are supplied with the unique BRABUS tuning guarantee for 3 years up to 100 kilometers (according to BRABUS guarantee conditions, as of July 000).

BRABUS offers the world's largest engine tuning program for Mercedes-Benz automobiles, and that now also includes the new S-Class. An increase in performance was developed for the six-cylinder petrol engine in the S 500 4MATIC. The BRABUS B50 - 500 PowerXtra module, which is integrated into the vehicle electronics using plug-and-play technology, elicits 65 horsepower more peak power and 70 Nm more torque from the three-liter four-valve engine. This is due to special maps for injection and ignition as well as a moderately increased boost pressure.

500 PS and 590 NM torque

Instead of the standard 320 kW / 435 PS, a powerful 368 kW / 500 PS and a maximum torque of 590 Nm are available after the conversion, which is constantly available between 1 and 800 rpm. This shortens the four-door car's acceleration time from 5 - 800 km / h to just 0 seconds.

The top speed remains electronically limited to 250 km / h. There is also a BRABUS performance upgrade for the turbodiesel engine in the S 400 d 4MATIC. After installing the BRABUS PowerXtra D40 performance upgrade, the six-cylinder diesel engine has an output of 272 kW / 370 hp and produces a maximum torque of 750 Nm with just 2 trips. The tuned luxury limousine sprints from zero to 500 km / h in just 5,2 seconds and has a top speed of 100 km / h.

further tuning stages are in progress

Of course, the engine engineers at the Bottrop-based company are already working on further tuning levels for the other gasoline, diesel and hybrid models of the new Mercedes S-Class. BRABUS recommends the use of fully synthetic MOTUL high-performance motor oil. Of course, BRABUS not only offers increased driving dynamics for the new top models. With a sporty, elegantly styled aerodynamic kit, the owner of a new S-Class, which is factory-fitted with AMG Line, can make his vehicle even more exciting. All parts are manufactured from PUR-R-RIM in original equipment quality. This ensures a perfect fit and flawless paintability.

The BRABUS front spoiler not only enhances the appearance of the standard front apron, but also reduces lift on the front axle. The even more striking face is made even more dynamic by the attachments for the side air inlets in the front bumper. Integrated LED position lights set the BRABUS look even more apart from the series design.

The rear has also been extensively revised by the BRABUS designers. This includes a sporty styled insert for the rear bumper, which can be combined with the optionally available black chrome-plated tailpipe trims in the characteristic BRABUS design. A rear spoiler lip in carbon fiber will be available shortly.

This of course also includes BRABUS monoblock light alloy wheels in 19, 20 or even 21 inch diameters, which were tailor-made for the new S-Class. Forged BRABUS “PLATINUM EDITION” light alloy rims in various designs are available as the most exclusive wheel / tire combination.

BRABUS Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" rims

On the vehicle shown here, BRABUS Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" wheels with dimensions 9Jx21 are mounted on the front axle and 10.5Jx21 at the rear. These rims are manufactured using high-tech forging technology. Its design impresses with the combination of a polished surface with black lacquered ventilation openings. On the vehicle shown here, the BRABUS Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" wheels were painted in the vehicle color. The BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply the optimal tires. As a maximum combination, sizes 265/35 ZR 21 can be mounted on the front and 305/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.

With the Airmatic Sport-Unit, the BRABUS chassis engineers have achieved a sportier look and even more agile handling, of course without restricting the outstanding driving comfort of the S-Class. Depending on the selected drive program, it lowers the sedan by up to 25 millimeters.

the cabin is also extensively refined

Pure luxury and individuality in the interior is a particular BRABUS specialty. The spectrum of the offer for the new S-Class ranges from an eight-part entry sill set with BRABUS logos that are either illuminated in white or change color to match the ambient lighting, to exclusive interior fittings that are tailored to the customer's wishes down to the last detail and is flawlessly processed.

The luxury liner shown here was refined with a two-tone BRABUS fine leather interior made of particularly soft and breathable leather in the contrasting colors of porcelain and black. This includes the dashboard as well as the center console. The great attention to detail is demonstrated not only by the seats, which are perforated with millimeter precision and also stitched in the identical cube design as the inner parts of the door panels.

Further striking accents were set with the shadow chrome coating for all switches and the carbon elements on the dashboard and in the center console. The optionally available sets in BRABUS Signature Carbon, which was developed exclusively for the new S-Class, are particularly exclusive.

  • Performance upgrade to 368 kW / 500 PS
  • Aerodynamic parts made of high quality PUR-R-RIM
  • 21 inch monoblock forged wheels
