Apart from the Mercedes or Smart brand, the German tuner Brabus has now also launched the China SUV WEY VV7 GT. While one has gotten used to the fact that Brabus has done extensive work on European vehicles, a Chinese vehicle with tuning from Bottrop is new. A first modification of a Wey VV7 Pro GT with Brabus Parts was already shown at the IAA 2019 but we haven't heard from this vehicle since. The VV7 GT Pro from Brabus had stately 22 x 10 inch rims, a lowering by 30 mm and a lot of carbon trim all around. That had distracted something from the fact that under the hood there is no strong V8 like the X6 M or a GLE AMG, but a plug-in hybrid drive with four-cylinder turbo gasoline and electric motor provides propulsion. Visually, the Brabus VV7 GT kept up with X6, GLE and Co.

There were fenders all around, red painted brake calipers, a modified new apron at the front with front spoiler, modified air intakes etc. and at the rear the apron was given a black rear diffuser with an F1-style brake light. And compared to the series, the Brabus model also got clear taillights and there was also a matching spoiler for the tailgate in the noble carbon fiber. At the time, no information had been released regarding the performance, so we cannot say whether changes were made by the German tuner. The run on the test bench, the sports exhaust system with 4 tailpipes and the new brake system with 6 pistons on the front axle allow this assumption. And as we know, Brabus also has one for him EQC 400 from Mercedes An upgrade ready that shows that performance tuning on an electric car by Brabus is already possible.

And the cab has also been extensively revised by tuner Brabus in cooperation with the manufacturer WEY. The exhibition vehicle received a tailor-made leather interior in black and red and also countless carbon components up to individual seams that were contrasted in color in the usual Brabus quality. Typically Brabus, the vehicle was of course handcrafted, which is impressively shown in the video embedded below. And with a high probability, small accessories such as an aluminum pedal set, illuminated door sills with the logo of the tuner and individual floor mats will also soon be available. That would be the Brabus standard program, so to speak. However, we currently lack concrete information about this.
