Whenever one of the big tuners like AC Schnitzer, Hamann or Manhart New tuning parts for a BMW are only a short time later to be seen on a vehicle from Abu Dhabi Motors. And that also applies to that Schnitzer X4 & X3 M Tuning program. Presented by Schnitzer at the beginning of the year, a part from the tuning range of the Aachen tuner has now made it to a Toronto red painted X4 M (F98) in Abu Dhabi. And the potent SUV now has even more power than the factory 510 PS. Because in addition to visual changes, there was also an increase in performance for the Munich. Before delivery to the customer, the X4 received a tuning upgrade with ingredients from AC Schnitzer that also included a setup for 600 PS.

The powerful power SUV coupé was exhibited in the BMW Abu Dhabi Motors showroom after the conversion and is shown on optional bicolor forged wheels from the BMW shelf. Specifically, it is the design V-spoke 765 M in bicolor with striking elements in orbit gray. Thanks to a lowering by AC Schnitzer suspension springs of 20 to 25 millimeters, the Alus sit perfectly in the wheel arch and they also harmonize very well with the Schnitzer body parts. The X4 M got a filigree front spoiler lip and a dynamic roof edge spoiler for the rear view. And as already mentioned, something has happened under the hood. The M variant of the X4 already delivers a whopping 510 HP and 550 Nm from the factory, but the biturbo in-line six-cylinder (S58) has been boosted to 600 HP and 700 Nm of torque from the first kilometer using AC Schnitzer chiptuing.

600 PS and 700 Newtonmeter

So far there are no new acceleration values, but the increase in performance in the X4 M Competition could reduce the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h to around 3,8 seconds. After all, the series manages this discipline in just 4,1 seconds. And the factory Vmax of 285 km / h (using the M Driver's Package) should now be history and the 600-PS-X4 should now easily run over 300 km / h. The cabin, on the other hand, seems to be completely standard. The X4 M is presented with a merino leather interior with extended features, which is discreetly set off with Sakhir orange and black details. In addition, the red rocker switches and the red start / stop button catch the eye and the chic interior trim made of carbon.
