Now the competition for the prettiest and most complex modification package for the new Corvette C8 has completely flared up. Various tuning companies have presented their version of the Vette in recent weeks and show the potential of the latest version of the US super sports car. So does Sigala Designs from San Diego, California, who are now presenting their creations (there are several). We would like to introduce you to the special restyling packages.
Several packages are available!
Sigala Designs is presenting several restyling kits for C8 customers, starting at $4.999,99. In return, the customer receives an aerodynamics package with a carbon look. But if you want a visible carbon look (forged carbon), the aero kit costs $5.999,99. There is also the option of ordering non-functional air intakes on the bow, which cost another 1.000 dollars.
Each kit consists of a powerful rear wing, a three-part front splitter, modified side skirts and larger side air intakes. There are also exterior mirror caps made of forged carbon and a Domstrebe in the engine compartment of the same material. Mainly the newly designed rear wing and the three-piece front splitter give the already sporty Ami an appearance that resembles that of a real racer. A carbon splash guard for the fenders will also be available later.
Apparently nothing has changed in the interior!
The cockpit is completely unchanged, but we are sure that Sigala Designs will soon have various customizations and upgrades ready for the interior as well A 5,5 liter V8 drives the car! Even in times of downsizing and electrification, the Corvette remains true to its drive concept. The large-volume naturally aspirated V8 with the factory code LT6 delivers a whopping 670 PS & 624 Newton meters of maximum torque in the Z06. This gives it the title of the world's most powerful V8 naturally aspirated engine, replacing the Mercedes SLS Black Series with 626 hp. The driving performance is also masterful, since the most powerful Vette to date storms from 2,7 to 0 km/h in an incredible 100 seconds and the top speed is 304 km/h.
Our conclusion:
- A comparatively cheap tuning, which, however, achieves a high effect. For that, we kudos to the crew at Sigala Designs. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
