Wild Creature - Chevy Colorado Roadster with Lowride Chassis!

The USA is known to be the land of unlimited opportunity, and that is especially true of the overseas tuning scene. There is almost nothing that doesn't exist there, and with this Chevrolet Colorado Roadster from Cool Cars from Louisville (Kentucky) the Americans are once again proving to us that their tuning scene is probably unique in the world. It may be one of the craziest creatures of the year that you won't find anywhere anytime soon. You take a pickup, press it down to the ground with the help of an Airride chassis (CCE Air Ride 3/8 kit), remove the roof and some of the windows, and give it a shrill wrap. Something like that was probably the motto of the tuner, who thought to create a Speedster of this kind from a Chevrolet Colorado pickup. The extraordinary automobile is now at Mecum Auctions auctioned in Las Vegas, and bids will be available between November 12 and 14. The starting price is unfortunately not yet known.

Crazy one-off pickup-based item.

A 2005 Chevrolet Colorado was used as the basis, on which there are hardly any standard parts. The Airride chassis already mentioned above turns the former pickup truck into a tiller that makes you fear that you will blow off the front spoiler through the autumn leaves. The oversized, chrome-plated Bonspeed Huntingtons 22-inch rims with Hankook Ventus tires are a perfect match to underline the extremely shrill appearance. You don't even know where to look first. At the rear, an emblem that looks like the Batman logo adorns the remaining loading area, which, however, is no longer usable because the compressor for the air suspension was placed on it. The unique looks the craziest in the side view, because the Speedster side windows on the Suicide Doors In our opinion, they don't want to blend in with the already unusual lines. One thing is certain, however, like the amen in the church, and that this Colorado would never receive a TÜV approval in Germany. Such a unique piece would definitely be one Trailer Queen, and somehow almost too good to drive with it.

Opinions differ on the interior.

The staid hard plastic interior of the Chevy Colorado was kept completely in red and beige. In addition, there are various speakers and tweeters in the doors and a footwell completely lined with red carpet. The seats also take on the design of the cockpit, but are otherwise largely standard. The switches for the window regulators have been completely removed, and the door panels are also designed in a dark red. In the rear, which even offers space for two passengers, there is also a huge one Subwoofer between the two back seats, which serve more as jump seats as they don't even have headrests.

There is no information about the engine.

Unfortunately, we do not know whether any changes have been made to the engine, but we do know that the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado was equipped with a 2,8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 175 hp or a 3,5-liter five-cylinder gasoline engine 220 hp was available. Both engines have no turbocharger and the five-cylinder also acted as the drive source for the Hummer H3.

Shrill, shrill, Colorado Roadster.

Every car fan whose heart is bleeding when they see a Chevrolet Colorado like this can be assured that it is an absolutely unique piece that will probably no longer exist. For everyone celebrating the project, we of course have a picture gallery at the end of the article.
