This 1999 Chevrolet Corvette C5 was turned into an off-road buggy in 2019. The fiberglass body was removed, the front and rear frame members shortened and an exoskeleton cage made of DOM tubes was welded on the outside. The mighty 5,7-liter LS1 V8 and the six-speed manual transmission as well as the dashboard of the C5 are also present. And if you look closely, you will see that the front apron comes from a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. There are also free-standing Hella headlights and an XXL-sized LED light strip on the roof. At the rear, the C5 is a buggy with new LED taillights including indicators and reversing lights and there was also a 2019 Camaro Z / 28 silencer. It has an engine cover, a splash guard and rear panels made of 6061-T6 aluminum and other accessories include large tow hooks and a fire extinguisher mounted behind the driver.

The buggy is on 17-inch C5 Z06 rims with Firestone Destination MT2 tires in 265/70 and 285/70 format. It is switched by means of a short throw shifter and supposedly even the heating and air conditioning work. The radio and the speakers, however, are not! The 5,7-liter LS1 V8 with 345 hp got a new camshaft, Kooks manifold, sports catalytic converters, a performance clutch and the battery was implemented and provided with a disconnector. A completely crazy part that at first and also at second glance does not allow conclusions to be drawn about the actually very sporty basis.
