With this power, O.CT Tuning GmbH sends (Lustenau, Vorarlberg, Austria) the current VW Golf VII Clubsport S into a new league. The guys took a closer look at the Golf VII Clubsport S, which has already been modified by the VW sports department, and were of the opinion that a lot more can be achieved here. After analyzing and testing the engine extensively on the engine test bench, it was quickly decided that the VW EA888 - 2.0 TSI four-cylinder (CJXG) still had a lot of potential to offer. Two stages have been worked out which end in a brutal 2 hp on the front axle. This means that the Clubsport S from O.CT has as much power as its competition ABT Sportsline.
In order for the whole thing to get onto the road, various changes are made to the torque limit in vehicles with DSG transmissions. An adjustment of the engine speed, a shift in the shift times, an improvement in the reaction times, an optimization of the launch control and a modified gear change process were added electronically (new software). So that the four-cylinder is always well cooled, O.CT Tuning optionally provides an oil cooler kit that ensures that the temperature of the oil is lowered by up to 20 degrees.
