In a special collaboration between the Belgian designer Job Smeets and the yacht company Firmship A special edition was recently created Land Rover Defender (L663), which includes both the special design language of smeets as well as that of Firmship shows. The limited edition, on only 25 vehicles limited, has a monochrome look that blurs the boundaries between automobile and nautical design. The Defender was painted in Firmships Signature color RAL 7035, a light gray and the special layer of paint was extremely durable second coat of paint applied, which is usually used in construction machinery. The special look gives the exterior a very special texture!

And the monochrome theme continues in the interior, using the same light gray interspersed with darker gray tones on the edges Door panels, the dashboard and the headliner. The color scheme ensures a harmonious connection between the interior and the body, true to the principle “Firmshipped" - Tone in tone. And of course, special attention is paid to this British Heritage rims. Visually, they are, in a sense, a larger version of the original aluminum ones from the “old Defender“. They contribute significantly to the authentic appearance of the renovation. The choice of RAL 7035 as the main color for the Defender underlines the philosophy behind Firmship's design approach: Neutrality, timelessness, versatility and calming effect are some of the reasons that make the special livery so important for Smeets and Firmship.
