The builder of this example not only wanted to maintain the Corvette and keep it in its original condition, he wanted to create something unique. And we are convinced that such an incredibly converted classic is still a piece of automotive history and certainly worth no less than if the vehicle was standard and restauriert would. Anyway, the Vette is rat hot!
Chevrolet Corvette Roadster
The radically revised Corvette can be said in advance that it will go under the hammer in Scottsdale (Arizona) at the end of January in the course of a Barrett-Jackson auction without a starting bid. The base was a '59 Corvette that was converted into a roadster by California-based Hot Rod Service Company specialists. Although you can still tell that this is a Corvette C1, the vehicle has a completely handcrafted boxed chassis with completely different dimensions. The body is not only significantly wider, it is also longer than the original.
At the same time, however, it is also flatter. Also, things like multiple cross braces, a Roll bar or a 4-link system with an individual Wishbone installed. The complete cloned The body is painted in high-gloss black and the aprons are also redesigned and painted in body color. In the XXL wheel arches there are also huge Forgeline forged wheels and obviously there was a specially made, much smaller windshield.
Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine
The black beast is powered by a Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine with unknown power, which was paired with a dual cold air intake and a Chevrolet 6L90E gearbox. The eight-cylinder also speaks acoustically with a specially made 3-inch sports exhaust system and the wild load is slowed down with a Wilwood brake system.
