Dodge turns up again and flexes its muscles again with the Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock 2020. Dodge says the Super Stock 2020 would be the fastest, most powerful muscle car in the world. The drag racing spirit of the limited Challenger SRT Demon from 2018 should live on through the 2020 Challenger SRT Super Stock. He also has the charged 6,2-liter HEMI® high-performance V8 engine on board, which also drives the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye and is coupled to an eight-speed automatic (TorqueFlite 8HP90). With a revised drive train that increases the shift point from 6.300 rpm to 6.400 rpm, the Challenger SRT Super Stock delivers an output of 818 PS & 958 NM (807 HP & 707 lb.- ft.). There is also the standard widebody kit, a new chassis, Brembo brakes and a new wheel / tire combination. The Super Stock stands on lightweight 18 × 11 inch rims with a low gloss granite finish which are all around with 315 / 40R18 Nitto NT05R drag tires.

Braking is carried out with a Brembo four-piston brake system made of aluminum including ventilated 14,2 inch (approx. 36 cm) brake discs and a limited slip differential with an axle ratio of 3,09 is installed. So equipped it goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour (approx. 97 km / h) in 3,25 seconds and the quarter mile is after 10,5 seconds and at a speed of 131 miles per hour (approx. 211 km / h) completed. Dodge specifies the top speed with electronically limited 168 miles per hour (approx. 270 km / h) because of the drag tires. The Challenger SRT Super Stock is not limited and is currently the ultimate Dodge Drag Racing model. First orders for the 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock are expected to be received this summer. Production then begins in the fall at the assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, and the vehicles are expected to arrive at Dodge // SRT dealers even later this year. The Challenger SRT Super Stock got its name from the “Super Stock” class in drag racing. It is defined by vehicles that look like normal cars but are highly modified racing cars. And that also applies to the Challenger SRT Super Stock. It looks like a normal challenger, but has the strongest drive. The SRT Super Stock gives the driver the ability to configure maximum drag strip performance and precision to complete the quarter mile as quickly as possible.

The unique Bilstein high-performance adaptive damping suspension (ADS) suspension helps to put as much weight as possible on the rear tires at the start in order to achieve maximum traction. The settings for the driving mode of the Challenger SRT Super Stock include the auto mode (street mode) with which the Bilstein ADS is set for comfortable driving with good handling. Then comes the sport mode, the track mode and an individual mode in which the driver can choose between auto, sport and track mode. The gearbox, the shift paddles, the traction, the chassis and the steering are adjusted. Traction control is deactivated during Track mode so that the rear wheels are suitable for the Burnout can warm up. However, the electronic stability control system remains activated in order to offer the driver a straightforward performance. And the Super Stock has also installed the start assistant from the Challenger SRT Demon. If necessary, the engine control unit reduces the torque by up to 20 percent to maximize traction without the driver having to control it with the accelerator pedal.

There is one more Line lock Function, a race cool down function for the fan of the V8 and the SRT Power Chiller ™. It's an innovative and award-winning feature for the Challenger SRT Super Stock and the SRT Hellcat Redeye. It directs the refrigerant from the air conditioning system to a cooling unit on the engine. The coolant flows to the heat exchangers in the charger and increases performance. The new model is available in 13 different Dodge // SRT colors, which are also available for the 2020 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, the 2020 Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Challenger R / T Scat Pack Widebody and the 2020 Challenger R / T Scat Pack 1320 are.
