Porsche and Embraer present an exclusive duo of sports car and airplane: Customers who opt for a special edition of the Embraer Phenom 300E business jet can purchase a Porsche 911 Turbo S customized to match. The strictly limited edition is the result of the collaboration between the two brands. It bears the name "Duet" and is based on the two sportiest and most successful products in the respective segment. The project team consisted of members of the Executive Jet Design and Marketing departments of Embraer in Melbourne / Florida (USA), the Porsche design department “Style Porsche” in Weissach (Germany), the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Stuttgart (Germany) and the Studio FA Porsche in Zell am See (Austria).

Both brands pursue the same goal: In addition to a unique experience, they offer customers worldwide exclusive products that can be customized and refined almost unlimitedly. “Porsche and Embraer have a number of common values in common,” says Alexander Fabig, Head of Customization and Classic at Porsche. "As part of the cooperation, we use the know-how of both brands to jointly develop a unique pair of sports car and jet that is attractive for both customer groups." The duo, limited to ten pieces, is primarily aimed at customers who value performance , Innovation, technology and customizability. At the same time, the connection between performance and suitability for everyday use is the focus of both products.

Painting is done in a manual process

“A collaboration of this magnitude could only be brought into being by two innovative companies that share one vision: to offer the ultimate customer experience. The special standards of our discerning customers have inspired every detail of this outstanding pairing, ”says Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets.

Sports car and jet have in common the two-tone paintwork in platinum silver metallic (glossy) and matt jet gray metallic (silk gloss) with decorative stripes in brilliant chrome and speed blue. The entire painting is done in a complex manual process. A logo was specially designed for the collaboration. It deals with aerodynamics and consists of a stylized airplane wing from the Phenom 300E and the rear wing from the top-of-the-range 911 from the Sport Design package. The Duet logo is used on the exterior and interior of both products, for example as an embossing on the headrests or on the limited edition badge. This very special XNUMX Turbo S builds a bridge to aviation in further design details: the individual registration of the respective jet is on the underside of the rear wing and on the cheeks of the vehicle key. The panels on the door sill trims have "No step" lettering illuminated in red. The dial of the stopwatch in the Sport Chrono Package has an imprinted artificial horizon.

The latest generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo S is more powerful, more dynamic and more comfortable than ever. The centerpiece is a 3,745 liter boxer engine with 478 kW (650 hp). The balanced concept of driving fun, dynamism and sportiness can be experienced both in everyday life and on the circuit. For the coupé created as part of the collaboration with Embraer, Porsche has combined a glossy and a satin finish for the first time: the upper part of the sports car is in platinum silver metallic, the lower part in jet gray metallic. A decorative stripe with lines in brilliant chrome and speed blue runs over the side panels and doors. The entire painting is done by hand, analogous to the painting process of the aircraft.

Alloy wheels in Exclusive design

The light alloy wheels in Exclusive design are painted in platinum silver metallic and have lines in speed blue on the rim flange. These are implemented using laser technology. The side air inlets and the strips of the side windows are painted in brilliant chrome and thus pick up on a design feature of the jet's engines. The LED door projectors throw the cooperation logo on the floor. A special emblem sits on the B-pillar: in addition to the cooperation logo, it includes ten small rectangular fields corresponding to the limited number of items. One of them is blue. Each customer can choose its placement, on behalf of their copy of ten. This emblem is repeated on the outside of the jet.

Borrowings from the jet cockpit: The unique details in the interior

Exclusivity is also the trump card in the interior of the 911 Turbo S: The designers have implemented a special color scheme and combined black and chalk-colored leather. The black leather surfaces are adorned with seams in speed blue. The steering wheel also has the two-tone leather combination to match the jet's control horn. The 12 o'clock marking is speed blue, the carbon interior package is standard on board and has a high-gloss finish. The headliner is covered with chalk-colored Alcantara. The front seats have decorative elements made of high-gloss carbon. The cooperation logo is embossed in the headrests. The leather loop for folding down the front seat backrests is red, matching the pull loops on the aircraft seats. The entire car interior is made by hand, built in the factory and not available in this form in the standard range.

Sill trims with “No step” lettering

The panels on the door sill trims have red illuminated “No step” lettering - an allusion to the corresponding lettering on aircraft wings. The stopwatch in the SportChrono package also borrows from avionics: in addition to the cooperation logo, the dial has an imprinted artificial horizon. A similar gyro in the cockpit of the aircraft provides information on the flight position, i.e. movements around the longitudinal and transverse axes, particularly during instrument flights. On the passenger side, the dashboard trim has a "One of 10" logo. The front luggage compartment is lined with black leather by hand, contrasting with the seams in speed blue. The cheeks of the vehicle key are painted in speed blue and bear the registration of the jet. The logo is embossed into the leather of the key case. An indoor car cover with “Remove before flight” tags is also included.

Every buyer of the dynamic duo receives a Porsche Design luggage set. The high-quality luggage includes a pilot's case and two weekender bags. Porsche Design is completing the unique offer with a custom-made 1919 Globetimer UTC world time clock. The innovative timepiece takes up design details of the collaboration. The color of the dial is derived from the sports car and aircraft paint colors platinum silver metallic and jet gray metallic and is rounded off by the integrated graphics of an altitude meter. A special night design results from the use of the luminous material Superluminova: In the dark, the runway glows in light blue, while the hour indices and the hour and minute hands in light green. The tip of the date hand is designed in the shape of the Embraer logo. This is the letter "E", stylized in the form of a symmetrical airplane. The black leather strap is made of real Porsche interior leather and is adorned with contrasting stitching in speed blue. The logo of the collaboration can be found on the leather strap, the back of the case and on the dial. The 1919 UTC Globetimer Embraer is also limited to 10 pieces and is reserved exclusively for jet and vehicle owners.
