Who would have thought that the classic... Land Rover Defender One day we will not only be able to travel electrically, but also luxuriously on superyachts stored would be? The British company Everrats, known for conversions of Defender and Porsche 911 models, made this possible. Under the name of Shore tender is a fully electric luxury off-road vehicle that combines the heritage of the classic Defender with the Electromobility connects. The basis of the vehicle is the classic Defender, which is named after a restoration has received a new look and drive. But not only that: the design of the Shore tender was created in close collaboration with the superyacht designers Bannenberg & Rowell as well as the superyacht specialist brokers Edmiston developed. The result is a vehicle that cuts a fine figure both on land and on water.

Some of the specifications of the electric mod are the Canvas roof awning and the wood floorthat from recycled ocean plastic was manufactured. The removable doors and the special one Fastening option in the rear area make stowing on a yacht much easier. Yes you've read correctly. The Defender can be easily “stowed” on a superyacht, making it the perfect companion for world travel.
Other special features include one luxury equipment: A built-in Champagne cooler in the front engine compartment, picnic baskets and special Storage options for equipment and towels under the benches. And the paint? It can be individually adapted to the respective ship, boat or yacht so that the Shore Tender fits the owner perfectly. And for those who love that little something extra, Everrati offers individual ones Duffel Bags made of canvas embroidered with the name of the yacht.
AC and DC fast charging capability
Technically, the Defender is modern electric powertrain, supported by OEM components, under the sheet metal. The regenerative braking system ensures additional energy efficiency, and thanks AC and DC fast charging capability it will be ready to drive again in no time. Unfortunately, Everrati hasn't revealed the exact performance and battery specs. But with a vehicle this cool, we're sure it's worth the wait. If you're curious, you should watch the launch of the Shore Tender at this year's Monaco Yacht Show not to be missed. And who knows? Maybe you'll soon be driving your own electric Defender EV along the beach or charging it on board your superyacht.
