Ferrari has thrown a new benchmark on the market. We'll just say that now! Namely an Italian "special version" or "Versione Speciale" or "SuperPursuitVersion" which at first glance sounds as creative as "Superfast". But it doesn't matter. We know that from Ferrari by now. And it is CAN'T the final name! How the latest expansion stage of the 812 Superfast will complain that we will only find out on May 5th. Nevertheless, we are expecting a similarly controversial name. (Update: it stays with Ferrari 812 Superfast Versione Speciale and then there is the 812 Competizione A.) One thing is already certain, the limited model has the under the hood most powerful enginethat Ferrari has ever used in a road vehicle. And also a changed aerodynamics is installed with some subtle changes.

The novelties show up with others Air inlets in the front, a big one Carbon blade across the entire width of the bonnet, three ventilation slots behind the rear wheel arches and there's a changed setup for the rear diffuser and Exhaust. There is also a slightly larger one rear spoiler. That is no longer there glass rear window. A single piece is sitting here now Aluminium with so-called "vortex generators". And they have nothing to do with the flux compensator. Ferrari says these are small, artificially applied Surface defectswhich are supposed to ensure that impending stalling is delayed. Ah yes! But we come to the real highlight. The engine, which can no longer be seen from the outside. It is of course the one already known 6,5 liter V12 of the “normal” 812. However, it has been “optimized” in detail. Namely by means of a new valve control, a new sports exhaust and a few other "state-of-the-art" components.

a V12 the crazy 9.500 rpm. turns

The result turns the 800 hp of the 812 Superfast into a stately one 830 PSthat with a new one Speed limit accompanied. And that is now a massive 9.500 rpm. That is another 600 revolutions more than the "Normalo-812". There has never been more power in a Ferrari. And in the cabin? The Spezial-812 is hardly any different from the previous model. Apparently the Italians only gave him lighter ones Door panels , and a "H-switch topic" on the center tunnel. The automatic paddle shift system is still installed. Now we're just waiting for the official name! If we receive information about this, there will of course be an update for this report.
