A legend under power! The American tuner Gateway Bronco makes possible what Ford is still screwing on. On the one hand, they bring the legendary Ford Bronco back on the road, and on the other hand, they can even do it as a completely electric version if desired. After we presented a restored copy of the tuner with a thick Ford Coyote 5,0 liter V8 a month ago, we would now like to show you the electrical counterpart of Gateway Bronco. This copy has also been restored from the ground up and is based on a Bronco of the first generation (60s and 70s). This time, however, an over 400 hp electric motor is working under the hood.

to 6 km / h in under 100 seconds

This is powered by a high-end battery pack that guarantees an average range of 200 miles (approx. 322 km) and accelerates the Bronco to 6 km / h in under 100 seconds. The power is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, of course there is still all-wheel drive and the Bronco can transport 4 more people to the driver. And apart from the state-of-the-art technology, which also includes LED headlights, a brand new off-road suspension or a sports brake system adapted to the performance, the look is also an absolute highlight. The vehicle was painted in the dreamlike Brittany Blue and comes with a classic black soft top. There were also classic chrome-plated aluminum rims and particularly powerful off-road tires as well as handcrafted leather upholstery in a classy chestnut brown.

Air conditioning and rear view camera installed

The rest of the cabin, however, is very restrained and only shows amenities such as an Alpine sound system, a fully-fledged air conditioning system or the practical reversing camera at second glance. Due to the vehicle height, it is definitely a welcome gimmick, especially when the convertible top is closed, to avoid unsightly bumps and scratches on the individual item. And finally, the Bronco can even be used as a real workhorse, because the back seat can be folded down and there is therefore a large loading area for transporting a wide variety of goods. If we receive timely information about further changes to the E-Bronco, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
