Ford Focus RS with Mountune Parts & Project 6GR rims

It's been two years since Ford presented the current Focus RS at the Geneva Motor Show. Driven by the well-known 2,3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine from the Ford Mustang (there with 233 kW & 317 PS), the engine in the HotHatch generates a whopping 350 PS & 440 NM (470 Nm overboost) and, thanks to all-wheel drive, leaves the weaker Mustang no chance. The big 5.0 V8 is needed to somehow keep up. Of course, the Mustang only stands out visually from the Focus. But that can also be changed, as we would like to show with the following RS! On the Need 4 Speed Motorsports website (Glendale, California, United States) we have discovered this really chic specimen. In addition to a lowering, the RS has a set of 19 Customs Project 6GR and some Mountune parts receive. The surface of the rims is matt black and looks good with the rest of the gray body as we find it.

The subtle spoiler lip on the front bumper, the approaches for the side skirts, and also the right & left approach for the rear bumper come from Mountune. The high-rise rear spoiler, on the other hand, comes with the Köllner from the factory and this is also one of the most striking features of the top model. We are not quite sure whether the carbon mirror caps are from Mountune. And we don't have any information about the performance either. Clearly recognizable, however, is the Mountune intercooler, which gives rise to the suspicion that the 400 PS mark on this copy may have long been broken by means of optional chip tuning. But we are not sure about this. Apart from the modifications just mentioned, apparently nothing else has been changed on the RS so we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 If we do get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this post. You will be informed about the update if you have ours Feed subscribed. We hope you enjoy watching.

  1. I would be interested in whether these rims are also registrable in Germany, individual acceptance etc. I have never found anything.
