New wheels for this RENNTECH Mercedes-Benz S550 from the rim manufacturer Vossen Wheels from Miami (Florida). The owner of this RENNTECH Mercedes-Benz S550 has chosen a much more stylish alternative to the standard alloy wheels with the set of Vossen Wheels alloy wheels of the type VPS-312 (VPS312) in 22 inches. By the way, we haven't seen the rim type yet. On the S-Class, I find the rims extremely chic and they somehow remind me of the old AMG rims such as those used on the W201. By the way, Vossen Wheels already had the car with them in the past CV7 (CV-7) and VFS2 (VFS-2) wheels. The current VPS-312 wheelset is, in my opinion, the best choice so far. We know a few technical details about the Vossen Wheels wheelset and also about the other modifications to the car. Unfortunately, even after the third presentation, we are not aware of any details regarding the “Renntech” conversion. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary. Unfortunately, we have only received the pictures and an extremely short "short version" from Vossen Wheels so that we cannot list all the details yet, sorry for that.

These are the previously known data for the RENNTECH Mercedes-Benz S550. Please note that we can only identify the changes based on the pictures and thus everything is more or less "guessed":

  • unknown lowering (sport springs, coil springs or coilover !?)
  • darkened windows
  • possibly an increase in performance - Chiptuning, tuning box (info is still pending)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)
  • Vossen Forged Precision Series VPS-312 (VPS312) alloy wheels (22 x 9,5 inches at the front and 22 x 11 inches at the rear, made of 6061-T6 aluminum)
  • AMG sports package on the car

on Vossen VFS-2 Alu's in 22 inches

  • Vossen Wheels VFS-2 alloy wheels (22 ″ x 9.0 ″ | 22 ″ x 10.5 ″, Silver Polish Finish)

Certainly there will be new information soon and certainly new pictures and Videos in the net. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put this online and inform you about it.
