Inkas recently presented a new version of the Land Rover Defender 2023, which has been modified to offer 360-degree protection against all types of weapons. The SUV is capable of withstanding two blasts from DM51 hand grenades and it doesn't really show that visually. Because the conversion hardly differs from the standard Defender. Nevertheless, the vehicle complies with the CEN 1063 BR6 standards. This standard ensures that the Defender can protect occupants from assault rifle attacks (7,62mm ammunition) and even grenades.

"Inkas is proud to have armored the Defender so seamlessly that it is indistinguishable from the OEM model - a critical security measure essential to discreetly protecting our VIP customerssaid Margarita Simkin, co-founder and chair of Inkas Group. Inkas achieves the goal by implementing measures to extensively protect the sides, roof and underbody of the Defender. These include the use of military ballistic glass, there was an armored bulkhead, special protection for the tank, various reinforcements of critical structural points and important mechanical components. This also includes special run-flat tires.

Suspension and brakes are reinforced

To handle the additional weight, the brakes have been reinforced, as has the chassis. In addition to the standard protective functions, the Inkas Defender can also be equipped with optional items. These include an air filtration system for the cabin, a fire extinguishing system and a siren for emergencies. The price for the armored Land Rover Defender 2023 has not yet been mentioned by Inkas.
