Isuzu MU-X as a widebody off-roader from Arctic Trucks!

From the Russian branch of the tuner Arctic trucks there is currently a new tuning package for the Isuzu MU-X. Arctic Trucks has had the pickup for a long time Isuzu D Max as AT35 in the range and so it was only a matter of time before the SUV variant also had a similar one Upgrade receives. The Isuzu MU-X has been on the market since 2020 as a rival to the Ford Everest, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport or the Toyota Fortuner, and the ladder-frame SUV is already well equipped for off-road use ex works. But who right one The Arctic Trucks are for those who want (or have to) complete off-road missions modifications certainly the right thing.

The highlight is of course the massive 35 inches (0,89 m) A/T tires in the 315/70 R17 format, which make the MU-X look extremely beefy even without an additional chassis lift. So that the wide wheels fit into the wheel arches, there were front and rear wheels for the MU-X fender flares. And other immediately visible modifications are one painted in body color intake snorkel on the fender, a Underrun protection and an electric one winch, which can tow up to 5,6 tons. But that too Suspension has one changed. The new tires are joined by a sentence high performance suspension, which increase ground clearance from the standard 235 mm (9,3 in) to an impressive 278 mm (10,9 in).

a conversion takes about 20 days

With the new Suspension as well as the powerful Off-road tires improves the Approach angle front and rear to 36,2 instead of 29,2 degrees and 30,9 instead of 26,9 degrees. However, Arctic Trucks has not made any changes to the engine so far. That Tuning Kit including the Arctic Trucks that were also installed Strainers can already be ordered, with a conversion taking approx. 20 days. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
