Quadratec Jeep Wrangler “JTe” at SEMA 2022!

One of the world's leading specialists in Jeep accessories presented a special vehicle at this year's SEMA show. The Wrangler "JTe" christened model is intended to highlight Quadratec's 30th anniversary and is based on a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. Together with Jeep tuner Greg Henderson, they created a two-door all-purpose vehicle that should be able to climb any trail. We would like to present this unique piece to you!

Doors gone, loading area added!

The former four-door was rebuilt so that it only has two doors. A new addition is the short loading area, which forms a pickup from the former SUV. By cutting from the B-pillar, the cabin has been redesigned so that it now has two seats instead of five. In contrast to the four-door Jeep Gladiator, the JTe has 10,5 inches (approx. 27 cm) more loading space on the flatbed, although it is significantly shorter.

In addition to the Quadratec Green paintwork, other highlights include a J5 50-inch (1,27 m) LED auxiliary headlight bar on the roof, vertical LED taillights from Oracle Lighting, bronze-colored 17-inch Lynx TrailGunner alloy wheels and powerful ones 37" (0,94 m) Nitto Recon Grappler all-terrain tires. The vehicle was also raised by 2,5 inches (6,35 cm) and powerful bars on the loading area. Last but not least, the Wrangler got a winch from RES-Q and special front and rear bumpers from Carnivore to be prepared for use in rough terrain.

The interior has also been optimized!

Custom seats with special covers and extra-robust all-weather floor mats made their way into the cockpit. The "50/50" on the seat covers is part of a campaign by Quadratec, which is being carried out in every US state together with the non-profit organization Tread Lightly! wants to clear a field path of garbage. It has already been successful in twelve states in the USA and has already removed more than 7 tons of garbage.

A plug-in hybrid drive provides propulsion!

A duo of a 2-liter turbo petrol engine with four cylinders and an electric motor with a 17,3 kWh battery together generate an impressive system output of 380 hp. The plug-in drive was taken over unchanged from the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and is equipped with an automatic transmission. All four wheels are permanently driven and the purely electric range is up to 53 kilometers. This means that you can climb over hill and dale in an environmentally friendly way and leave no emissions behind.

Our conclusion: A cool concept car for off-road fans that can be used in many different ways. We would have liked a little more power so that the JTe differs more clearly from the base. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
