From the Formula 1 driver Jenson Button comes this converted one Land Rover Defender. It's a real one Restomod, with a whole range of modifications that make it stronger and more powerful. Upgrades include a V8 powertrain, upgraded chassis and a revised interior. The unique car is based on a 90 Land Rover 1988 and is currently being sold. And from collecting cars, who in the ad talk about the vehicle getting an LS2015 V3 in 8 and an abundance of "further improvements". The team from probably did most of the work Urban Automotive carried out.
Defender 90 restomod
Specifically, they installed a 6,2-liter Corvette V8Crate engine, which delivers 436 hp at 5.900 rpm and a whopping 576 Nm of torque at 4.600 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. It also stands on 18×9 inch Coastline Defender alloy wheels with 285/60R18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. There was also a new chassis and a sports brake system. And even the interior has been revised and it now shows itself Recaro bucket seats, folding rear seats, a Puma-style Defender dashboard, modern air conditioning, power windows, a new sound system and much more.
Painted in Velocity Blue
The 90 Land Rover 1988 also received a new Velocity Blue paint finish combined with gloss black accents on the roof, grille, air intakes and side skirts. As far as we know, Jenson Button drove the vehicle for about 3 years. It has run 4.085 miles (6.574 km) since the conversion.
