Osprey Custom Cars recently got another one Restomod Land Rover Defender presented. It's a short one this time 90's soft top model, which is suitable for both off-road use and has its advantages on the road. In the course of complete restoration of the Defender, Osprey stripped the vehicle down to the chassis and then painted the body panels in one go Color: who as Corris Grey referred to as. There was also a black powder-coated one Four point roll cage and over it stretches a tight-fitting black one roof with roll-up / pull-out side windows. There are also a lot of small ones on the body Details like the custom made ones Door handles and of course the Door, hood and windshield hinges made of black anodized aluminum.

A new black one was installed at the front radiator grill and the mounts for the modern LED headlights are also glossy black. Also is a Underrun protection to see. There are also integrated in the bumper LED daytime running lights and also on Rear the lights have installed LED technology. The changes are rounded off by a new one on the outside rear apron with 2 inch hitch, with massive Recovery points and a heavy-duty pivoting Spare wheel carrier with a full spare wheel. By the way, the spare wheel is part of the new one Offroad wheelset with black 18 inch rims and mighty Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires in 275/70 R18 format. And then there would be this Interior. And that is no longer comparable to the normal standard Defender.

Inside, the conversion now has a heated Windshield and heated Seats front and there are also four side-facing in the rear Seats, which can easily be folded away. Also is a state-of-the-art 7 inch (approx. 18 cm) Infotainment system installed with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is joined by one more Audio system with eight speakers from Rockford Fosgate. But as always, the most important change is under the hood. They installed one there 6,2 liter LS3 V8 naturally aspirated engine from the Corvette with 435 PS and stately 603 Nm torque. The V8 engine is coupled to a Six-speed automatic , and a High performance transfer case of type LT230.
