Have you ever heard of a LUV? In the SUV, SAC and SAV scene, the manufacturer Lexus would like to draw attention to its completely redesigned Lexus LX 570. For the Japanese, LUV stands for "Luxury Utility Vehicle"! Aha ... Lexus recently lifted the LX and supposedly, apart from the door panels, nothing of the pre-facelift was taken over. Under the hood there was a new eight-speed automatic instead of the previous six-speed manual transmission and a multimedia system with a 12,3-inch display in the interior. With the engine, however, nothing happened because the LX continues to come from its predecessor with a 5,7-liter eight-cylinder and 383 hp.
Visually, the whole looks already different because here the LED lights convince front and rear, the huge radiator grille or the 20 and 21-inch aluminum wheels in 10 spoke design. But exactly these wheelsets are almost lost on the 5 m long LX. Reason enough to see if a few more numbers do not fit into the wheel arches. That is exactly what the team of Vossen Wheels now made a LX 570 have placed on a 24 inch wheelset. The rim is the Vossen S17-01 forged wheel we just recently at one M3 and an G-Class have seen. The exact dimensions are 24 × 10 inches all around and if you are honest, even this wheel set does not necessarily look huge on the LX.
The luxury off-roader also got a subtle lowering missed and so sits the huge wheels perfectly in the wheel arch. The design of the rims is in our eyes very suitable for the LX because the wheelset comes with just the necessary restraint to not unnecessarily push into the overall picture. Apart from the wheelset as well as the discreet lowering we are no other modifications known so we leave you here with the pictures alone. 🙂 If we still get some info there is of course an update for this report.
