The electrical system with super capacitor and electric motor weighs just 34 kg and scores with a remarkable power / weight ratio of 1,0 kg / PS. The symmetrical power flow ensures the same efficiency in both the charging and discharging cycle, thus ensuring a particularly light and efficient hybrid solution. This advanced technology is used in conjunction with the V12 engine with titanium intake valves and increased output to 785 hp (577 kW) at 8500 rpm. Together with the additional 34 hp of the hybrid system, the Sián Roadster delivers 819 hp (602 kW) and reaches a top speed of over 350 km / h.

The Lamborghini Sián Roadster is equipped with a state-of-the-art regenerative braking system that was specially developed by Lamborghini. Thanks to the symmetrical functioning of the supercapacitor, which - unlike normal lithium-ion batteries - can be charged and discharged with the same power, the Sián Roadster's energy storage system is fully charged every time the vehicle brakes. The stored energy corresponds to an immediately available power boost, through which the driver can immediately use the higher torque when accelerating. This applies to speeds of up to 130 km / h, above which the electric motor switches off automatically. In this way, the vehicle can be driven more flexibly and is over 10% faster than a car without this technology. The innovative system also enables immediate acceleration even in low gears with improved pulling power from the combination of the V12 engine with the hybrid system. The Sián Roadster accelerates from 2,9 to 0 km / h in less than 100 seconds. The improvement in elasticity is even clearer. The pulling power has been improved by up to 10% in third gear, for example.
