Lister Motor Company presents the 666 PS Lister Thunder

They still exist, the 1954 founded Lister Motor Company from the UK. But in the last decade it had quietened around the British racing car forge and since that rather unsuccessful Lister Storm LMP who contested the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Lister refrained from further races from 2007. But on February 15, the company will present the first new development of the century at the “2018 Historic Motorsport International” exhibition in London. A new design based on the current Jaguar F-Type. Name it whole? "Lister Thunder"!

He should officially be the legitimate successor to the Lister Le Mans, which originated 25 years ago. The goal of the project is to be the fastest, strongest and most luxurious Lister in the 65 company history and to set new standards. Of course, this also has its price because with at least 139.950 British pounds (just 160.000 Euro) should be expected. There is a manufactured in the English Cambridge, and limited to 99 copies, athletes run with 666 PS 320 km / h and accelerated in less than three seconds from 0 to 100 km / h.

This is made possible by a 5.0 liter B8 compressor from the Jaguar F-Type that the Lister team has "subtly tuned". What AMG and Brabus does with Mercedes-Benz or Alpina with BMW, Lister would like to do with Jaguar in the next few years and therefore hopes for a success of the Lister Thunder. Whether a carbon body kit, 36 different nappa leather colors and a few badges on the outside justify a price of more than £ 30.000 in addition to the F-Type SVR remains to be seen. If we get details about further changes, there is of course an update for this story. You will be informed about the update when you get ours Feed subscribe to. Update

News from 08.08.2018

In February it was announced as "Thunder" and now it comes as the LFT-666. Nothing has changed in the key data and the look and the number of pieces remain unchanged. However, we would like to point out that 24 of the 22 planned vehicles were already sold within the first 99 hours. So if you are interested you should hurry up. The British company has announced that it intends to bring the world's fastest SUV onto the market with the Lister LFP (with a high degree of probability based on Jaguar F-Pace). We are curious….

Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.

"Tuningblog.eu" - we keep you up to date on the subject of car tuning and car styling with our tuning magazine and present you the latest tuned vehicles from all over the world every day.

It's best to subscribe to ours Feed and will automatically be informed as soon as there is something new for this post, and of course also to all other contributions.
