From the manufacturer Advanced RV comes another impressive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter conversion in the form of a practical panel van with an extremely inconspicuous look but many functions. The conversion / construction is called B box and is a class B van-based motorhome according to Advanced RV. The basis is a Mercedes Sprinter (BR 907/910), which is equipped with a custom-made living box made of fiberglass, plywood and urethane foam. The structure is well insulated and therefore suitable for use in all seasons. The dimensions correspond to those of a typical Sprinter conversion. The outer footprint is that of a delivery truck, but the inside has an additional 9 "(23 cm) width and the ceiling is 80" (2 m) away. And what is impressive is what the B-Box has to offer.

all the functions of a motorhome

It has all the functions of a motorhome, including a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. There is also a 50 gallon fresh water tank and two 27,5 gallon tanks for gray and black water. And there is even a shower recycling system installed that cleans and disinfects the shower water so that it can be used again. The recycled water is also used for the toilet and even underfloor heating is installed. The electricity for this comes from a 48 volt lithium battery system with 15,2 kW output and the charging process takes place via an additional alternator that is installed on the Sprinter engine. It is controlled by software developed by Advanced RV with a touchscreen panel.

$ 300.000 to a hefty $ 500.000

The cabin is even so airtight that an air exchanger is used to ensure fresh air in the B-box. The B-Box is still a prototype, which, depending on the options / equipment, is expected to cost a good 300.000 to a hefty 500.000 US dollars. As always, this is not cheap from Advanced RV, but it is comparable with other systems from the provider. However, the B-Box clearly exceeds the weight class in terms of functions and capacities.
