The heritage of a vehicle whose nucleus goes back to its ancestor in 1948 and which has been firmly woven into the fabric of British automobile production for decades hardly requires any explanation. The Defender has truly earned its recognition as a distinctive point in history, operating reliably and triumphantly on a global scale in all sorts of model variants and special designs, and - remarkably - with unchanged high production numbers to this day. With sales of over 2 million units of the previous Defender generation, the successor model, introduced in 2020, begins its journey to continue the successful chapter.
