At regular intervals we receive vehicle pictures and data from tuning companies in the land of the rising sun, asking us to publish a report on tuningblog.eu about your creation. In a good 80% of cases, however, we have to inform the companies that the “refined” vehicles not quite (to put it politely 😀) meet our expectations in order to dedicate a report to you.
Recently, however, this image has been changing noticeably and it is no longer the flashing, embarrassing boxes, but vehicles from Varis, Forest International & Co., which give us a completely new picture of Japan. Stylish, high-quality and really beautiful tuning has now arrived there and a really extreme example comes from Osaka from the tuner GARAGE ILL. The Japan-based company puts a matt purple-wrapped Audi R8 on brutal Work Wheels aluminum rims, which not only has an extremely widened body, but also a unique and mega-powerful wing at the rear.

The entire body kit was made by hand and has a variety of carbon parts such as the front splitter, the diffuser and the side skirts. If you don't see the R8 right away, you can certainly hear it from kilometers away thanks to the built-in Kreissieg sports exhaust system. However, if the 345 Nitto tires at the rear provide enough grip, the spectacle should be over quickly for the outsider and the R8 should disappear over the horizon. After the extremely comprehensive tuning treatment that this R8 was allowed to undergo, it is now completely rebuilt and completely unique and hardly leaves any thoughts about the production version.
