Mercedes AMG GT R from SR Tuning with 850 hp!

Who always had the feeling, the factory ones 585 PS & 700 Nm maximum torque of the Mercedes-AMG GT R is not enough, you should contact SR Tuning from Hamburg. Because they push the athlete – with the fixed rear wing and the striking diffuser with three tailpipes ex works – on request to crazy ones 850 PS! And that's exactly what happened with this black beast. The four-liter M178 eight-cylinder was upgraded by means of TTH 880 turbocharger and in addition are BMC sports air filter installed. Also the down pipes has been adapted and of course SR Tuning combines everything with an in-house engine control software (chip tuning). The result leads to rich 850 PS & 930 Nm maximum torque and thus the AMG accelerates from a standing start in only 3,3 seconds on Tempo 100 and after just 7,8 seconds, the threshold of 200 km/h has already been exceeded. the top speed is electronically limited at 330 km/h.

And the other key data on acceleration are also impressive. From 200 to 250 km/h it only takes About 3,9 seconds and from 200 to 300 km/h it takes just a short time 10,8 seconds. Visually, on the other hand, the Stuttgarter holds back, if one can even say so in view of an AMG GT R. Only three parts are installed Schmidt FS Line alloy wheels with high-gloss polished beds and a black double-spoke star, and many things are all black. In the cockpit there was another update in the form of Multifunction sports steering wheel from the new S-Class of the W223 series with a rim made of black Alcantara.
