It has been almost two years since Mercedes-AMG new SL (R 232) presented. The entry-level model was included almost six months later. We're talking about SL 43, the cheapest version. It has the same engine as the 45 series (M 139 DE 20 AL), i.e. one 2,0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 381 PS and 480 Nm Torque. Despite the four-cylinder, it is by no means slow and accelerates to 4,9 km/h in just 100 seconds. The top speed is also remarkable 275. And a few days ago the team from HRE Performance Wheels posted an SL 43 on social media that has rims from the company's own 540 series. Specifically the Type 544. The HRE 544 model is available as a two- or three-piece version and in sizes 18 to 22 inches. They are also suitable for other Mercedes models such as the S-Class, the G-Class and even the CLK.
About Thomas Wachsmuth
Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.
