If you are looking for a vehicle that does NOT come along with round shapes and smooth transitions like almost all others, you are definitely in the right place with the second series of the Mercedes-Benz CLS (type C218). In the elegant Stuttgart sedan, especially with the AMG package, everything is a bit more angular and beefier than is the case with many vehicles of this size and class. The front bumper including its air intakes, the radiator grille, the headlights and the side beads and edges are much more pointed and more present than is the case, for example, with the new E Class W213, an Audi A7 Sportback or a 6 Series Gran Coupe. The whole thing is only taken to extremes by the spectacular Shooting brake (X218), which is understood as estate coupe, and since October 2012 is available. But up to date we would like to present you a white CLS Coupe-Limousine which was put on a set of Avant Garde Wheels M632 alloy wheels in 20 Zoll.
In my opinion, the rims fit like the proverbial "Fist on the eye“Because here, too, an angular design dominates the 5-spoke wheel. The aluminum's liquid bronze paintwork also looks extremely good on the CLS in conjunction with its snow-white body. There was only a significant lowering of the wheelset and a subtle spoiler lip on the trunk lid. In conjunction with the all-round darkened windows, the CLS looks absolutely impressive and simply different. The vehicle is a great example of the fact that neither an extensive body kit nor a huge 22 inch model are necessary to be unmistakably different from the series. There isn't much more to say about the Stuttgart so we'll leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the four-door coupe, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
