The tuning team TopCar from Russia gave us a small preview of what you will soon be able to see at the Geneva Motor Show. They have published a modified Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe on their website that we of course want to show you. As far as the details of the optical or technical changes to the GLE are concerned, we have tried to find out some information for you and have found it. However, we cannot say at the moment whether these are all changes. What we were able to find out and what we recognized ourselves, we provide you with a small summary below. There is new information about the GLE Inferno, which of course we cannot withhold from you. The tuner already had his in mid-February "Inferno" This variant of the large SUV is presented and as you can see above, we have already presented the fat coupe with many pictures. Also the current Inferno version (has already been seen at the top of a virtual image) hardly stands out from the vehicles mentioned above. The most striking feature is the body kit, which was not painted this time, but is completely made of carbon. Specifically, this means that the front and rear bumper inserts, the radiator grille, the bonnet, the side skirts, the inserts in the fenders, the front spoiler lip, the ventilation gills in the rear bumper, the rear spoiler and the diffuser are made of visible carbon. The body kit alone costs a good 20.000 euros. In addition to the body kit, the tuner installed a set of high-end LUMMA design alloy wheels in 22 inches, which look good on the GLE and optimally fill out the wheel arches.

A few days ago, and in wintry conditions, the Russian tuner TopCar has now also equipped a GLE 350d Coupé with the complete Inferno body kit. Visually, of course, there is hardly any difference to the large GLE63 AMG, but in financial terms there is, in my opinion, a decisive disadvantage. The vehicle is for sale for 6,750,000 rubles, which corresponds to approx. €105.000, and if you want to own the 22 inch LUMMA design wheel set, then another €6.500 will be due.
If you add up, you get almost €112.000, which is damn close to the €115.251,50 for a GLE63 AMG Coupé! So what could be a reason to do an AMG look with a 350d and not have the performance of the 5,5-liter V8 biturbo engine at your disposal, but to pay almost the same purchase price?
