Only the Chinese do that! Take a Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 (117) with 211 PS & 350 NM torque and then install all sorts of parts from the CLA45 AMG to make it tough. This is exactly what the owner of this CLA250 has Pre-facelift made and certainly spent almost as much money as a used CLA45 AMG would have cost. The original brake system alone, with its perforated brake discs front and rear and the large, red-painted brake calipers, should have cost a good deal of money. In addition, there were taillights from the LCI model that seem to meet the owner's claim visually. The vehicle was already equipped with the AMG styling package ex works, which at least in this respect did not cause any additional expenses. Other changes are an MTEK chip tuning and a Spint Booster module that allows the accelerator to be configured individually. The Stuttgart-based company also gets a high-quality coilover kit of the KW Variant3 type and so the increased performance can be adequately implemented.
A few other small changes such as the KEDesign cross struts & chassis components round off the appearance and from now on, at least for the layman, it is rather difficult to distinguish the CL250 from its big brother (at least if the nameplate was removed at the rear). There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the modifications to the CLA, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
