Insignificant steam hammer - Aulitzky Mercedes CLS 500

In contrast to the top-of-the-range CLS63 AMG, the CLS500 (X 218) is much more understated because there are no four tailpipes at the rear, no striking diffuser and no oversized brake system with AMG logos! Of course, the CLS 218 series is anything but inconspicuous and especially the Shooting Brake variant causes a lot of attention even six years after the presentation of the C219 successor. The typical wolf in sheep's clothing is the CLS500 M 278 EN 46 AL V8 BiTurbo which already brings tight 408 PS & 600 NM torque from the factory. So equipped it goes on country roads in just 4,9 seconds and the propulsion is only stopped at an electronically sealed 250 km / h. Aulitzky tuning from Bavaria has now taken on the 500 and missed it a chip tuning that increases the power to 510 PS & 800 NM torque and at the same time removed the electronic lock of the top speed.

In terms of power, the Aulitzky CLS500 offers only 15 hp less than the CLS 63 AMG (model range 03 / 2011–03 / 2013) and at the same time delivers exactly the same torque as the absolute top model CLS 63 AMG S 4MATIC (with M 157 DE 55 AL V8-BiTurbo) that has been available since 06/2013. With the restrained appearance and the significant increase in performance, many AMG drivers should certainly wonder why they cannot ban the 500 from the rearview mirror. If we get more information about other modifications to the CLS500, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
