Mercedes AMG A 45 and CLA 45 "Edition 55"

Mercedes-AMG is now expanding the range of "Edition 55" special models to mark the "55 Years of AMG" anniversary to include the compact performance vehicles A 45 4MATIC and A 45 S 4MATIC compact sedan as well as the CLA 45 4MATIC and CLA 45 S 4MATIC as a coupé and shooting brake. The paint finish in cosmos black metallic or digital white metallic underscores the exclusive appearance, as does the foiling with the traditional AMG crest and implied AMG rhombus. AMG 19-inch forged wheels in a cross-spoke design round off the elegant design. The anniversary models for the 45 performance vehicles can be ordered from now until December 2022.

A 45 & CLA 45 "Edition 55"

The "Edition 55" range of equipment includes the AMG aerodynamics package. It contains a front apron with an enlarged front splitter and additional flics, an AMG rear wing, side flow separation edges on the optical air outlets of the rear apron and the diffuser blade. All these components are painted in high-gloss black. They were developed in the wind tunnel and improve driving characteristics at high speeds.

The AMG Night Package and the AMG Night Package II further reinforce the dynamic appearance of the "Edition 55" models. The front splitter and the decorative elements on the slats in the outer air inlets are in high-gloss black. The inserts in the AMG side skirts, the beltline trim strip, the window line trim strip and the exterior mirror housings are painted in the same colour. There are also tailpipe trims in black chrome and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass. The slats of the AMG-specific radiator grille in black chrome and the type designation on the boot lid and fenders in high-gloss black complete the exclusive appearance.

"Edition 55" special models

Another distinguishing feature of the "Edition 55" special models for the compact class is the paintwork in cosmos black metallic or digital white metallic. In line with this, the coloring of the foiling on both sides of the vehicle with the traditional AMG crest and indicated AMG rhombus runs from gray to transparent. 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels painted matt titanium gray with a high-sheen rim flange and wheel hub caps with "Edition 55" elements round off the powerful appearance. The AMG tank cap in silver chrome with AMG lettering also demonstrates great attention to detail.

The interior is characterized by high-contrast black and red. The AMG performance seats are upholstered in two-tone leather in classic red/black. The AMG Performance steering wheel in DINAMICA microfibre with "Edition 55" badge and black 12 o'clock marking commemorates the 55th birthday of the brand. AMG door sill finishers with AMG lettering illuminated in red and black AMG floor mats made of high-quality velor with red contrasting stitching and “Edition 55” lettering woven in red visibly enhance the special models right down to the footwell. The exclusive ambience is given the final touch by the AMG dark brushed aluminum trim in the "Edition 55" design with accents in black/red and the AMG logo.

The scope of delivery also includes a tailor-made AMG indoor car cover in elegant black with a silver-colored AMG logo at the level of the upper edge of the windscreen. With its breathable outer skin made of tear-resistant synthetic fiber fabric and the anti-static inner fabric made of flannel, it protects the vehicle from dust and scratches in the garage. The exclusive special models are now available with the "Edition 55" equipment package at an additional cost of 12.614 euros(S variants) or 14.280 euros can be ordered.
