Since Mercedes launched the C2015 series as the GLE & GLE Coupé in 292, the predecessor model W166 has become eerily quiet. Particularly in the tuning area, apart from the completely rebuilt TOPCAR W166 with Inferno Bodykit, not really something new on the market and we are already happy if we can present you at least one ML with new alloy wheels and a subtle lowering. The vehicle came from the tuner Naples Speed and it is the top model ML63 AMG with M 157 DE 55 AL - V8-BiTurbo and full 525PS & 700NM torque. By the way, whoever is interested in 713PS - SL 63 AMG from Mcchip-DKR who will know what the engine is capable of. And since the drive unit in the ML is precisely this engine, the train of thought of over 700 hp in this subtle SUV is a very interesting one. Currently there is hardly an alternative to be similarly discreet but at the same time brutally motorized. 😎
But now back to the changes that Naples Speed made. Most noticeable is certainly the XO Luxury XF1 wheelset in lush 22 inches which is equipped with beefy 305/30 Pirelli Pzero tires. But not only the chic wheelset makes the difference, also a significant lowering and the silver aerodynamic parts front and rear contribute to the perfect overall picture. Unfortunately, we don't know how the lowering was realized, but we assume that either a set of sport springs is installed or the air suspension has been adjusted by changing the software so that it lowers the body by approx. 40 mm. If we get more information about the modifications to the ML, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
