On Milan design weekTuesday 18 April – Sunday 23 April) currently shines the Maserati GranTurismo. The new edition of the vehicle attracts attention and is exhibited in the new showroom in Milan, the Italian design metropolis, together with personalities from fashion, showbiz, sports and music. The Gran Turismo Launch Edition PrimaSeries 75th Anniversary was presented together with three other vehicles: GranTurismo One Off Prism and Gran Turismo One Off Luce, both designed by the in-house Maserati Centro Stile, as well as the Gran Turismo One Off Ouroboros, conceived by Hiroshi Fujiwara, a Japanese street culture pioneer and lover of the trident.
Maserati with 3x GranTurismo
Brand ambassador David Beckham was also there as a style pioneer and global brand ambassador to present the new Gran Turismo to inspect personally. Joining him were Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, Italian pianists and composers Dardust, and Italian actress Matilda De Angelis to celebrate the iconic Maserati vehicle, first developed in 1947 to set new standards in endurance sports cars. The GranTurismo One Off Prism is an impressive example and it has the Nettuno V6 combustion engine under the hood, paying tribute to the legacy of the glorious automobile.
The body consists of a "chromatic partnership" of 14 different colors decorated with more than 8.500 hand-painted letters that form the names of the Maserati vehicles. Two of the colors look to the future, while the other twelve draw from the hues of the most popular GranTurismo models of the past, such as the distinctive Amaranto of the 6 A1500 1947 and the Oro Longchamps that adorned the 1973 Khamsin.
the GranTurismo One Off Luce
The Gran Turismo One Off Luce is a sign of innovation and sustainability and is equipped with an all-electric Folgore drive that reflects Maserati's love of experimentation and constant research. Its design is an interpretation of a monolith engraved with a dynamic laser-etched pattern. The near-total absence of color allows the vehicle to blend into its surroundings, emphasizing the car's contours.
Maserati GranTurismo One Off Ouroboros
As a continuation of the collaboration with the Japanese brand that has existed since 2021 Fragment Maserati also presented the Gran Turismo One Off Ouroboros, This virtual Model comes from the Fuoriserie customization program and was designed by street culture innovator Hiroshi Fujiwara as a personal creative interpretation of the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore. The name "Ouroboros" refers to a Gnostic symbol that symbolizes the infinite unity of all things, which are constantly changing in an eternal cycle of destruction and creation.
With the One Off Ouroboros, Fujiwara combines distinctive design elements from various Maserati models. The front grille of the A6GCS Berlinetta Pininfarina, the side air intakes of the 3500 GT, the covered round headlights of the Maserati Tipo 151, the forged wheels of the Bora and the continuous rear light bezel of the Shamal.
After making their global debut during Milan Design Week, these masterpieces will tour the world as part of a series of Maserati GranTurismo-themed events. This gives automobile enthusiasts the opportunity to marvel at these unique creations up close. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
