You read that right! An absolute dream for any JDM fan, and a true treasure in the car world is out there - and at a hefty price. The Japanese exporter JDM Expo had one some time ago Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür from 2002 for sale. For those who aren't sure what that means, it's the ultimate version of the Skyline R34 GT-R, the highest production version of the R34, which was only sold in 2002. The “V-Spec” in its name stands for “Victory Specification”, and the “II” shows that it is the second stage of expansion. “Only”? Yes, this is a homage to the “Nürburgring”. But there are even more distinguishing features that make the car special!

Instead of the usual one RB26DETT in-line six This beast comes with a race-optimized N1 version. That means a strengthened engine block, modified turbochargers and around 330 hp, as opposed to the RB280's usual 26 hp. There are also stronger brakes, a firmer chassis, a Bonnet made of carbon and additional air inlets. And as if that wasn't intense enough, the example in the pictures has the exclusive paint color “Millennium Jade”. This particular R34 is just one of 156 vehicles with the special color and at the time of the pictures (2020) only had a paltry one 362 km on the speedometer! Yes, you read that right, it's practically a new car.
413.000 euros for an old Nissan? Crazy!
The asking price at the time of the pictures? It was a whopping over EUR 413.000! That was a new record price among used Skylines and a good EUR 150.000 above the last record price. And, oh yes, before we forget, the note again. The sale was already in 2020, so it is likely that the jewel is already in the hands of a lucky new owner. We just wanted to show you the pictures. And who knows? Maybe at some point you'll get the chance to grab such a gem again.
