Have you heard of the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser? This is a huge station wagon that was built in three generations from 1964 to 1977, but somehow doesn't want to be one of those classic station wagon models. And that is particularly true of this particular example. Because there was a huge dose of Hurst / Olds inspiration here! The Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser from 1969 has been given a classic Hurst / Olds 442 design, the highlight of which can of course be found in the white and gold paintwork. A bonnet with two large air openings including an H / O 455 badge is built in and the rear wing looks particularly bizarre on the extended roof area. In combination with the large panes, it looks pretty strange, but it's kind of cool.

There is black leather in the cabin, space for up to nine people and even some modern amenities such as a CD radio and "ice-cold air conditioning" are included. And of course we shouldn't forget the extra sunlight. It reaches the passengers thanks to the transparent central area in the roof and of course due to the large rear windows. Incidentally, under the hood sits a 455-cube V8 that works with a 700R4 automatic transmission. There are also power brakes and power steering is installed. In view of the huge vehicle mass, it is certainly not a bad idea. Incidentally, the Hurst / Olds-inspired Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser is currently being offered by Gateway Classic Cars in Illinois at a price of 31.500 US dollars.
