The Renault Group participates through the Renault Foundation in the “European Heritage Days” organized by the French Ministry of Culture from September 18-19, 2021. On this occasion, Renault opens the doors of a historic building in Boulogne-Billancourt for the first time and invites visitors to discover the history of the brand. A reconstruction of the original workshop in which Louis Renault worked on the first Renault model, the "Type A", is on display. Important works of art from the collection of modern art and historic Renault vehicles are also on display.
European Heritage Days!
The Renault art collection, founded in 1967 by the then CEO Pierre Dreyfus, comprises more than 550 works. This art collection is a real bridge between the world of art and industry and testifies to Renault's longstanding bond with its French roots. To make this heritage accessible to the broadest possible audience, Renault is also digitizing part of its art collection in 2D and 3D. Around thirty works, including sculptures by Dubuffet and Miró, will be on view on the renaultgroup.com website.
