Saleen S281SC based on the Ford Mustang Cabriolet!

This extremely rare 2006 Saleen S281SC Cabriolet based on a Ford Mustang convertible we absolutely have to show you. The vehicle is currently for sale on Mecum Auctions in the form of an auction. He is purple painted and was Saleen's 69th car at the time (according to Mecum). In addition, it is one of only 29 examples that were built with these specifications. According to Mecum a real "Power pack with low production numbers and particularly low mileage". And Saleen's “extreme label” is certainly not to be understood as a joke. Because at that time the Mustang got everything that Saleen had on offer. And that concerned besides that Redfire paintwork and various stickers, of course, a heavily tuned one 4,6-liter engine V8 under the hood.

Saleen Series VI TwinScrew Compressor

The engine was made with an in-house Saleen Series VI TwinScrew Compressor equipped and strengthened in combination with other changes such as a special one Chiptuning, a new one Cooling or a modified one aspiration on 550 ponies and 678 Nm torque. Visually, the S281SC shows the increase in performance only very subtly.
