Crazy Saturn Sky "Speedster" with LS2-V8 and 400 hp!

Do you remember the former GM brand? Saturn? Originally launched in the 90s to break Japan's dominance of the compact car segment in the US, General Motors failed to hold a candle to Toyota, Honda and Nissan. As a logical consequence, Saturn did not survive the global economic crisis of 2008/09. And many of the vehicles will probably no longer mature into classics, but eke out a shadowy existence with backyard dealers between flags and pebbles. But one model stands out. It's the Saturn Sky, who in Europe as Opel GT was offered in the second generation and is one of the cream of the brand for Opel fans. Such a Saturn Sky, that of Certified Motors LLC remodeled, you can now purchase it for $30.000.

Tracktool without a windshield!

Originally this Saturn Sky was a base model, but it was turned completely inside out. With its discless Speedster body, the fender flaresthat seamlessly into the massive side skirts pass over and the powerful Air scoop on the bonnet, it is immediately clear that this is a very special Saturn. the black one bonnet as well as the dark toned ones headlights radiate enormous aggressiveness and make the vehicle look like an aggressive insect. And it's fair to say that it would have made General Motors' in-house concept car as well.

A 6-liter LS2 V8 petrol engine provides powerful propulsion!

The Motor comes from a Corvette C6 and, as far as we know, generates around 400 PS. Together with the compact dimensions and the rear-wheel drive, fun and enjoyment are guaranteed in everyday life and on the racetrack. The maximum torque is included 541 Newton meters, which means that the compact sports car must struggle for traction from time to time. Incidentally, it is shifted using a manual six-speed gearbox.
