Now it has been officially presented, the VW T-Roc, which was created as a Golf-sized SUV on the MQB platform and is intended to compete against the Audi Q2, Skoda Karoq or the Seat Arona. However, the real highlight should not come until next year, because then the T-Roc R with 300-310 hp, all-wheel drive and DSG should make life difficult for the competition. But also the "normal“T-Roc is already generating a lot of interest and the team of Plant 2 Automotive GmbH he has already set himself.
The vehicle of the Autohaus Schlögl GmbH & Co.KG got a KW V1 coilover suspension prototype from the tuner from Surberg in Bavaria, which will be available soon and lowers the presentation vehicle by a whopping 80 mm. The chassis ensures that the lowering in combination with a 20-inch OZ Hyper GT wheel set makes the T-Roc an absolute eye-catcher. The dimensions of the rims are 8,5 × 20 inches with an ET45 and the new Alus are fitted with Falken Azenis FK510 tires in 235/30ZR20 (world's first set in 20 customs).
But not only the new chassis, as well as the chic alloy wheels, are the highlight of the brand new T-Roc from Werk 2 Automotive. If you look closely, you will see a significantly larger brake system through the spokes of the aluminum, and the brake system from the Audi TT RS was chosen here. And certainly not without reason. We assume that the tuner does not want to wait until the official appearance of the T-Roc R and has therefore provided this example with a substantial increase in performance.
And the interior also has TT RS flair, because here there were the chairs of the sporty coupé from Ingolstadt. The outer skin got an elegant foil including references to the companies involved. All the details about the Werk 2 T-Roc will probably only be available at the Essen Motor Show (December 2, 2017 - December 10, 2017), where the vehicle will be on display.
