Extremely different - Toyota 200 Hiace from tuner Kuhl-Racing

About 2 weeks ago, the Japanese tuner Kuhl-Racing has a virtual interpretation of, in Japan, popular TOYOTA 200 HIACE vorgestellt and thus a preview of the planned body kit for the minibus. At this time we still philosophized whether the extreme camber is meant seriously or if he was just a bit of a tired idea of the Photoshoppler. Before 2 hours but posted Kuhl-Racing the reality and tells us that it is quite serious! The minibus is completely rebuilt and has just this extreme camber (at least on the front axle) now also in reality. But not only the wheel / tire combination is hardcore but also the rest of the Hiace is anything but decent.

The current version of the 200Hiace looks, especially at the front, as if it came straight from another planet. The car received a new bonnet with an integrated evil eye, a super bulky bumper with huge air intakes and front splitter and a set of really fancy headlights with LED daytime running lights. But as chic as the headlights are, the combination of everything makes the appearance of the minibus a matter of taste. The new body kit also continues on the sides in the form of large side skirts and, as expected, the rear has also been completely redesigned. There is a massive diffuser and a towering roof spoiler at a height of a good 2,20 meters. The LED taillights also come from the accessories and look pretty cool with their completely black look. The high-gloss foil in metallic gray with its embossed design and lettering is an absolute highlight. If we are mistaken and it is an elaborate airbrush painting then we would like to apologize now, unfortunately the company has not provided any information so that we can only speculate about the way. As already mentioned, the wheelset is also a highlight on the Japanese minibus. A different color combination was used on the right and left.

While the rims on the passenger side are completely chrome-plated, they are fitted with a matt black rim star on the driver's side. Unfortunately we can not give any information about the rims. We estimate the size to be about 18-19 inches and beyond, we would argue that the bus has received at least a coilover suspension or even an Airride suspension for the extreme lowering. As cool as the complete vehicle looks, we will probably never see such an extremely changed Hiace in Europe, and especially in Germany. Especially as far as the TÜV regulations are concerned, we can well imagine that some obstacles might arise. If we get specific information about the modifications on the Toyota Hiace, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. It's best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We hope you enjoy the photos.
