The Crown is one of the most famous models of the car giant Toyota worldwide. In the latest generation, however, the model completely broke with the sedan tradition of its predecessors and was transformed into a sporty crossover with increased ground clearance. Incidentally, various Crown models are to be created, which, in addition to the cross-over sedan, will also include a traditional notchback, various SUV series and possibly even a roadster. However, it is not yet clear whether Crown will remain a sub-brand of Toyota or, like Lexus, will be positioned as an independent premium brand within the group.
Toyota Crown by Tom's & Keeper!
But now we come to the new cross-over sedan Crownseries, which has already been modified by various well-known Japanese tuning companies. We now introduce you to the concepts that were on display at the Tokyo Auto Salon. Tom's Racing and KeePer joined forces to work together on the new full-size Toyota. The result was a subtle makeover that includes a modified front splitter and gloss black rims. In addition, the model of the two tuners got a black four-pipe exhaust system, a black diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler, which was also painted glossy black. The dark add-on parts form an excellent contrast to the white paint finish.
Toyota Crown by Blitz!
The Japanese tuner Blitz also brought a modified one Crown Cross-over with to the Tokyo Auto Salon. A custom front apron with large air intakes and dark-tinted headlights can be seen from the front. In addition, the vehicle was lowered and got modified side skirts, which give a sportier impression. Furthermore, new rims were fitted, which have black and silver spokes.
Toyota Crown by M'z Speed!
The interpretation of a modified Crown by M'z Speed is much more exciting than, for example, by Blitz. A custom bumper was installed on this vehicle with a tough-looking lower bumper placed beneath a powerful grille. In addition, the vehicle rolls on Nitto tires whose white lettering causes a stir. A powerful diffuser and a four-pipe exhaust system also convey a sporty appearance at the rear.
Toyota Crown by Aimgain!
Last but not least, the Aimgain project presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon should not be missed. Known as the VIP EXE Package, it comes with a lowering kit and special rims. Aimgain also modified the side skirts and the rear, which is now characterized by a new diffuser and two chrome exhaust pipes. In addition, the car got red brake calipers, which ensure a sporty look. From our point of view, the tuning kit is the most elegant way of driving a modified Crown of all the variants presented.
