Toyota did yesterday (Sunday, 19.09.2021) the new 2022 tundra pickup presented. He gets a more aggressive look, new technology and more power. but no V8 engine. Instead, there are two versions of the 3,5-liter dual turbo V6 and a hybrid that develops up to 437 hp and all of them hang on one 10-speed automatic. This makes it 56 PS stronger than the current V8 and with 790 NM torque it is also significantly stronger. The new Tundra is based on Toyota's TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, which also carries the new Tacoma and the Sequoia and 4Runner SUVs. The offroad-oriented TRD Pro model comes with 2,5 inch Fox dampers with internal bypass as well 33 inch Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires equipped.

Incidentally, the hybrid version of the V6 called i-Force-MAX is built into the TRD Pro as standard and can therefore drive purely electrically at speeds of up to 29 km / h. The TRD Pro vehicles have a "Toyota" logo with an integrated LED light bar in the grill and also a special one TRD off-road package is available.
