MTE tunes the VW Golf IV R32

MTE presents: The VW Golf IV R32 in a turbo guise! Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference. But when MTE lends a hand, a small car like the VW Golf IV R32 becomes a Bi-turbo monster, which draws everyone's attention. Especially when it comes with a flashy one Wüstentarn Cow painting comes along. But let's dig deeper and find out what really sets this beast apart.

Under the hood: a top-class powerhouse

Let's start with the heart of the vehicle. MTE has not just one, but the same two Garrett turbos installed, which makes the R32 impressive 740 PS boost. The result? A quarter mile in just 11,5 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h. But to achieve this power required some significant changes. A Cast exhaust manifold, a Turboansaugbrücke, larger injectors and an optimized one LMM provide the necessary boost.

In order to withstand the increased performance, forged pistons and H-shaft steel connecting rod installed. The sound? Absolutely heavenly, thanks to a Stainless steel exhaust system with a diameter of two 76 millimeters. To keep everything cool, the vehicle has one Intercooler and Water methanol injection.

Conclusion: A Golf like no other

They are not to be forgotten Two-disc clutch from Sachs, which ensures a smooth gear change, and the bigger brake system with impressive 360 mm and six pistons. The whole thing is rounded off by a KW coilover suspension, which ensures optimal road holding. What MTE has created with the VW Golf IV R32 is nothing short of a masterpiece. This Golf is not only an eye-catcher, but also a true powerhouse. An absolute must-have for anyone who appreciates speed, power and a unique design.
